The VERTIGEL research project concerns the application of an innovative method of Additive Manufacturing (AM), which combines FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) and SLA (Stereolithography) technologies. In FDM technology, a heated head deposits plastic thread in layers during specified movements on the XY level.In printing with SLA technology, a source of UV radiation (laser, led, projector) photopolymerizes liquid resin in a suitable way in layers to form in the plane the geometry specified.
