Greece, February 19, 2016 – Vertitech, the Greek provider of school and learning management software, announces today an investment of 550.000€ led by Odyssey Jeremie Partners, a fund that helps emerging Greek Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies address global markets. Vertitech has its headquarters in Kavala, North-East Greece and is the first technology company in the area to secure venture capital funds.
The investment will be used to accelerate the global expansion of Classter, the company’s software suite and to deliver product enhancements. Classter is a unified school management solution, giving any educational institute the power to manage their academic, finance, transportation and library operations with measurable results and to build updated communications with controlled access for teachers, students and parents. As an end-to-end school and learning management solution, Classter invests in developing the infrastructure that will enable educational institutions to easily implement adaptive learning methodologies and open their organization to the educational community using cloud and mobile technologies. Vertitech has a significant experience in school information and management systems. In 2011 the company launched its first educational management solution and till today it has built a clientele of over 300 diverse educational institutions in Greece alone.
