History

Vertitech SA is a leading provider in educational management systems and a software development company specializing in vertical business applications. Using Microsoft Technologies, Vertitech offers end-to-end management solutions specifically designed and customized for any business.

Vertitech SA was founded by Nikolaos Nikou in June 2007. By the end of 2010, Vertitech had introduced its first school management solution. With a clientele of over 300 educational institutes in Greece alone, what began as a small business, has now grown, through innovation and partnerships, to become a major player in educational technology. Over the course of time, the company has built meaningful work and meaningful relationships.

In 2015, Vertitech received a first round of investment for its educational product “Classter” from Odyssey Venture Partners - a fund that helps emerging Greek Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies address global markets. Key to this investment was our unique performance results which are a product of our determination to meet the growing demand for end-to-end alternatives to educational management systems. In this most challenging financial environment, Odyssey Venture Partners has enabled us to continue bringing innovative, game-changing educational - Cloud technology -products to market, accelerating our partner program and the execution of our business plan. We are greatly pleased that our focus on achieving consistency and minimizing risk, especially during this economic downturn - has resulted in performance worthy of a fund which is essential to the development of a partner network and which allows us to pursue sales leads internationally.

Vertitech is now evolving its educational solution, Classter, and expanding its solutions around Cloud and mobile technologies with its main focus on covering customers' needs both locally and globally and connecting diverse individuals with the life experiences that surround them in education.

As a leading provider in management solutions, Vertitech has further implemented VertiMarble and VertiCheckIn and is today one of the few Greek software development companies that exported its software solution to the USA, UAE, Poland, Romania while is currently emerging into new markets.
